Blended Learning Curriculum
Some consider blended learning a combination of computer based programs (or computer aided instruction) such as ALEKS or Plato and teacher lead online courses.
Some blended learning or online programs are computer based (or computer assisted, meaning that students log onto a computer and must complete units and online tests before being allowed to move onto the next level. Instruction is lead by the computer.
Teacher lead online courses are courses where a qualified, content based teacher is teaching the course and determining how students move through an online course. This may include some computer based instruction as well, but the instruction is lead by the instructor.
